Guided Growth Method Approach:

The Guided Growth Method is a comprehensive, science-backed approach to personalized learning that supports the academic and executive functioning development of ALL learners—regardless of ability or learning style.

  • Whole-Student Focus: Educational facilitators collaborate with students to set clear expectations, establish academic and executive functioning goals, and identify each learner's preferred style of learning.

  • Collaborative Partnership: Facilitators actively engage with all educational stakeholders—including parents, teachers, and specialists—to create a unified support system around the student.

  • Highly Qualified Professionals: All facilitators hold valid teaching credentials, possess at least 3 years of classroom experience, and are trained in multiple evidence-based curricula, as well as social-emotional and executive functioning strategies.

  • Data-Driven Growth: Students receive leveled assessments three times per year, along with ongoing informal assessments, to track progress and adjust instruction as needed.

  • Engaging, Individualized Instruction: Facilitators design and implement fun, meaningful activities tailored to each student’s goals and interests.

  • Transparent Communication: Weekly updates, including notes, videos, and images, are shared with families to showcase student growth and milestones.

  • Continuous Oversight: Guided Growth Directors conduct weekly and monthly check-ins with facilitators and families to ensure consistent progress both in sessions and during the school day.

  • Increased Confidence: Students not only bridge educational gaps and advance toward their academic and personal goals, but also experience significant growth in confidence, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills.

  • Comprehensive Support, Competitive Pricing:
Comparable programs often range from $150–$300 per hour and may not include the depth of individualized attention and support that our program provides. With rates starting at $125 per hour, families gain exceptional quality and long-term value at a more accessible price point.

Other Traditional Tutoring or Educational Therapy Approaches:

Traditional tutoring often emphasizes academic achievement, but lacks the structured, holistic approach necessary to fully support the modern learner.

  • Limited Professional Requirements: While some tutors may have impressive academic credentials, they are not required to have teaching experience, certification, or training in child development or educational strategies.

  • Minimal Assessment: Initial assessments, if provided, may not accurately reflect the student’s level, and ongoing progress monitoring is rarely implemented.

  • Narrow Focus: Traditional tutoring typically centers only on homework help or test prep, overlooking the root causes of academic challenges—such as learning gaps or underdeveloped study and executive functioning skills.

  • Lack of Personalization: Tutors are not required to use specific curricula, tools, or instructional strategies, nor are they expected to customize sessions to a student's unique needs.

  • No Stakeholder Collaboration: There is no obligation for tutors to coordinate with teachers, parents, or other professionals involved in the student’s education.

  • Outdated Methods: Instruction often relies heavily on lectures and worksheets, which may not engage or motivate today’s diverse learners.

  • Lack of Oversight: After your student is matched with a tutor, the tutoring company does not have an obligation to do anything more besides charge you for each session.

  • Limited Confidence: While students may experience a temporary boost in confidence after performing well on a test or assignment, this improvement is often short-lived. Without addressing the underlying educational gaps, lasting self-assurance remains out of reach.
